For over a decade, Meredith Fowler ran one of Canada’s niche entertainment firms, hands-on producing film and television projects for such clients as Disney, eOne, Hallmark, and Corus Entertainment.
During her tenure as General Manager and Head of Production for Coneybeare Stories Inc., the company produced 52 episodes of the Disney/YTV series Monster Warriors, developed the series MajorityRules (26 episodes) for Teletoon and eOne, and produced the cult-classic feature film Gooby, starring Robbie Coltrane and Eugene Levy.
From there, she was involved in the development and reboot of the Rainbow Brite franchise for Hallmark Entertainment, and the packaging of a slate of family films, Puppy Tales, before launching the financing and production of American Hangman (Netflix, Sony); A critique of the American justice system, starring Donald Sutherland and Vincent Kartheiser.
In 2024, she produced Wilson Coneybeare’s debut novel, A Feast of Wolves, while also branching into digital marketing and brand management.
After becoming foxhole friends during the filming of American Hangman, Meredith joined Jim Sternberg’s company, Complete Production Solutions, with a focus on film finance, business affairs, and production accounting.
Educated at Western University, Meredith began her career in social services with a concentration in experiential facilitation, conflict resolution and mediation, before turning her interest to media. She gained practical hands-on experience with television series for YTV/Corus Entertainment before being hired as a story editor.
Meredith always has her eye on the big picture. When the cameras roll, protect your creative by ending the “do-it-all-myself” mentality – just because you can, doesn’t mean you should. Draw those boundaries, create more space, and offload. Let Meredith help you Make Good.
